Jiugui Liquor is produced in Jishou City, Hunan Province.
Jiugui Liquor is a kind of fragrant wine. It is inherited from the traditional wine-making technology of Western Hunan and is produced in the Tujia and Miao areas of Western Hunan. This is a relatively affordable wine, and the product is also relatively popular with large sales volume. Zhonghuang Co., Ltd. is currently the actual controller of Jiugui Liquor Company, and the ultimate controller is state-owned by the State Council.
Jiugui Liquor Co., Ltd. was developed from Jishou Distillery, the first workshop winery in Xiangxi Prefecture, founded in 1956; it was renamed Xiangxi Jishou Distillery General Factory in 1985; and renamed Xiangxi Xiangquan in 1992 Liquor Factory; in 1996, it was restructured into Hunan Xiangquan Group Co., Ltd. and became one of the 50 earliest enterprises in Hunan Province to carry out modern enterprise system reform.
