Design concept of Huizhou North
Huizhou North Station adopts the magnificent and fantastic momentum of Luofu Mountain, extracts the cultural characteristics of the famous county in Lingnan, Huizhou, outlines the architectural image of the railway station in the new era with smooth lines, and reflects the city image of the state that benefits the people. The outline of the main facade of the building simulates the ups and downs of Luofu Mountain with concise curves, and the layers of entities on both sides are beautiful, like the overlap of nine halls and eighteen wells.
The main entrance sublimates the elements of Hakka traditional architecture, constructs the spiritual core of Huizhou traditional culture which is open, inclusive and cohesive, and symbolizes the profound and determined development trend of Huizhou culture. The technological design of aluminum plate on the wall of the station building is simple and atmospheric, incorporating regional elements, and the smooth lines outline the extreme and elegance of swan flying, which echoes the ceiling elements and means flapping wings and flying.
The curved glass in the middle holds up the red bucket arch, which is a metaphor for the boat shape. The curved ribbon-shaped ceiling of the indoor hall is not only like the graceful wings of swans dancing, but also like the surging waves at the seaside of Shuangyue Bay.
