Quanjude is the prototype of Fujude.
Fujude is a fictional restaurant in the TV series "The First Floor of the World", while Quanjude is a real time-honored restaurant in Beijing, famous for its roast duck. In fact, Fujude is based on Quanjude, so the two are connected in cultural background and symbolic meaning. Quanjude was founded in 1864. After several generations of entrepreneurship and hard work, Quanjude has achieved considerable development. In January 1999, it was recognized as a "well-known trademark" by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. It is the first Chinese well-known trademark in the service category in China.
