When the credit card is added successfully, the maximum payment amount is US$2,000. This limit applies to all types of payments. When the payment amount reaches US$2,000, you must become a verified user before you can continue to use PayPal to make payments. Payment limits can be viewed in the account overview. Once you've added a bank account, you can increase your payment limit.
Paypal is required for shopping on eBay.
