Do people know that the top four and the last four of bank cards are dangerous?
There is no danger. Under normal circumstances, it won't affect you. A savings card is the same as a credit card, but you must keep your card password and ID number, especially the validity period of the credit card and the three-digit or four-digit security code. If the above conditions are unknown to others, it doesn't matter that only the last four digits of the card number are known to others.

Be careful, your bank card is often linked to your ID number and mobile phone number, or even directly bound to the third-party payment platform on the mobile phone side. If you don't disclose the last number of the bank card, you will also disclose the ID number and mobile phone number, or the mobile phone is dropped. At this time, the risk is great. You must report the loss immediately. If the circumstances are serious, it shall immediately report to the public security organ.

How can I use the bank card safely? How to prevent your bank card information from being stolen? What is a brief introduction to bank cards? The bank card side line refers to the behavior that criminals install equipment with the functions of reading, recording and storing cardholder data and magnetic stripe card information on ATM machines or POS machines used by merchants, and secretly load or record cardholder magnetic stripe card information and password information on the side line.

The basic methods of this crime include but are not limited to:

(1) Criminals install side recorders in slots of self-service financial terminals such as bank ATMs to steal the track information of bank cards, and steal the password information of cardholders by peeping, installing a miniature camera above the password keyboard of the self-service financial terminal, installing a fake password keyboard, etc.

(2) Merchants or cashiers use the cardholder's unprepared or fraudulent means to steal the track information of the bank card and peek at the cardholder's password by using the modified POS data in the process of malicious card control.

How did the bank card information happen?

The crime of bank card side recording mainly includes three links: bank card information theft (bank card track information and password information), fake card making and using fake cards to steal account funds.

1. Bank card information theft: fraudsters usually install side recording equipment with magnetic stripe card information reading function and information storage function at the entrance of self-service bank terminals or POS machines, and side record the track information of cardholders when inserting cards at ATM machines or swiping cards at POS machines: some fraudsters will apply to be cashiers of merchants, while others collude with merchants or cashiers to side record, or register fake merchants to induce cardholders to secretly side record their own cards.

When making profile records, criminals usually steal the cardholder's bank card password in the following ways:

(1) direct voyeurism;

(2) Install cameras and other devices near ATMs and cash registers to directly shoot the password entered by the cardholder, or guess the password by shooting the gesture of the cardholder entering the password;

(3) Sticking a fake keyboard or fingerprint recording film on the password input keyboard of ATM or POS machine to record the password input by the cardholder;

(4) Some cardholders' passwords are too simple, usually a few birthdays and valid certificates, or involve home address and company address number.

2. Fake card making: criminals will try to retrieve the track information stored in the side recording device, and then use the track information reading and writing device to write the bank card information into the pre-prepared membership card, prepaid card or other fake bank card with magnetic stripe to make a fake card.

3. Theft of account funds: Criminals will choose ATM cash withdrawal, merchant POS machine theft and other ways to steal the victim's bank card funds. Before stealing the card, criminals usually use self-service terminal inquiry, mobile phone card reader balance inquiry, merchant micro-measurement, etc. to inquire whether the card is available or not, so as to ensure the smooth implementation of card theft.
