Legal analysis: It is recommended to consult the local bank and call the police. If the identity card is stolen and criminals pass off as credit cards, the bank will suffer property losses, which is beyond the control of the parties. Although the parties have the obligation to keep the identity documents, when handling credit cards for individuals, banks should fulfill the obligation of examination, including whether the identity cards are used by themselves and the authenticity of the identity cards. If the identity card is stolen by others, the credit card will be successfully handled in the bank. If the bank fails to fulfill its review obligation, the bank will bear the main responsibility for the consequences.

Legal basis: Article 17 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Resident Identity Cards commits one of the following acts, and the public security organ shall impose a fine of more than 200 yuan but less than 1,000 yuan, or detain it for less than 10 days. If there are illegal gains, the illegal gains shall be confiscated: (1) fraudulently using other people's identity cards or using fraudulent identity cards; (2) buying, selling or using forged or altered identity cards. Forged or altered identity cards and fraudulent identity cards shall be confiscated by public security organs.
