Agricultural Bank security code, also known as CVD2 code, is a digital code on the card face of Agricultural Bank of China, and users of Agricultural Bank of China need to fill in this code when applying for an electronic payment card. However, because the cards issued by ABC in the early days did not carry the CVD2 code, bank cards without CVD2 code can no longer handle electronic payment cards. If the bank card you hold does not have a CVD2 code, you need to apply for a new card with a CVD2 code at the local Agricultural Bank outlet.
The location of the CVD2 code varies from card to card. For the Agricultural Bank of China Jinsui Debit Card starting with 6228 or 9559, the CVD2 code is located in the bottom line on the front of the card (divided into two parts: the CVD2 code and the unit card label DWK). For credit cards, it is CVV2 and CVC2 codes, which are the last three digits of the signature column on the back of the card. The function of this code is to prevent accidental loss, because even if the card number password is stolen and the card surface is copied, it is useless without CVD2 code.
