2. BOC will not automatically issue new cards after the expiration of the cards that do not meet the conditions for card replacement. If you need a useful card, you can call the customer service hotline of China Bank at 4006695566, and the staff of BOC will try their best to help you issue a new card manually. However, in addition to the change of security verification code and the automatic extension of the validity period of the new card, the new card number will also change.
Please activate the new card when you receive it. Once the new card is activated, the old card will be invalidated immediately. As the validity period and security verification code of the new card will change, if you have handled personal online banking or other withholding business of China Bank (such as WeChat/Alipay, etc.), you need to re-associate it according to the new card information before you can use it.
Reminder: Bank of China has stopped issuing personal cards, and it is unable to handle business such as card replacement, card replacement at maturity, and card replacement after loss reporting.
