China Construction Bank Summer Internship Report 1
I was fortunate to have a two-month internship at China Construction Bank (Jiang'an Stadium Branch) and learned a lot of practical financial knowledge and skills. The content of this internship is mainly personal banking business, and I also have a general understanding of accounting business (corporate business) and bank card business.
Since the bank stipulates that no one without a teller number (physical teller authority) is allowed to work as a single person, so as a newcomer, in addition to assisting the accounting supervisor in sorting out daily accounting vouchers, I started from "Construction Bank Counter Business" A lot of important preliminary information was obtained in the "How-to" book. However, there is a certain gap between theory and practice. Through subsequent practical operations, I have become more familiar with the content of the book. Let me talk about my limited understanding of banking work during this period.
Personal Banking
First of all, we should mention that CCB implements a comprehensive teller system, which refers to a combination of single or multiple employees in accordance with the prescribed business processing authority and operating procedures. A labor combination method that comprehensively handles various financial services such as corporate accounting, cashiering, savings, and credit cards in local and foreign currencies for customers through the counter window, and assumes corresponding responsibilities alone.
Every morning before opening, all tellers on duty arrive at work 5 minutes in advance according to the supervisor's regulations to do some preparation work, such as stamping deposit and withdrawal receipts, cash stamps, etc. Once the cash box arrives, the day's work can begin. To enter the DCC counter operating system, tellers must first authenticate and sign in through bank fingerprints. The fingerprint sensor is connected to the business terminal of the outlet through a data interface, which is safe and reliable.
Personal banking business includes savings business, Dragon Card business, Express Transfer, collection and payment agency, intermediary business, personal counter signing (online banking), etc. These can be completed by the teller by inputting the corresponding transaction code and a series of operations into the terminal DCC system. One-stop service for local and foreign currencies allows customers to use the same account number and the same passbook to record the customer's local and foreign currency current (including cash and current exchange) savings deposits in the order in which the transactions occurred. It can cover all business types of current ordinary local and foreign currency current savings deposits, divided into two types: current and fixed.
The procedures for opening a current savings account and making deposits and withdrawals are as follows:
When opening an account, you need to fill in the current savings deposit slip containing the deposit date, account name, and deposit amount. And hand the receipt, cash and personal identity certificate to the bank handling staff. After the bank's handling personnel review, a passbook will be issued to the customer; if a withdrawal is required with a password or seal, the password must be entered in the prescribed format on the cipher device at the bank outlet. The current passbook supports opening an account with a small amount
(but the deposit cannot maintain a 0 balance), and when applying for a card, it is required to maintain at least 10 yuan. Withdrawals of large sums of money (generally greater than or equal to 50,000 yuan, and the deposit standard is 100,000 yuan) must be registered and reported, and checks involving checks must be signed by the accounting supervisor before they can be withdrawn.
Regular savings refers to a savings method in which the deposit period is agreed upon at the time of deposit, the principal is deposited once or in installments, and the principal or interest is withdrawn in one lump sum or in installments.
There is a special savings passbook for lump sum withdrawals. It is a kind of savings that is based on an agreed deposit period, fixed monthly deposits, and a one-time withdrawal of principal and interest upon maturity. The procedures for opening an account are the same as those for current accounts, and the deposit must be renewed every month based on the amount at the time of account opening. The procedures for early withdrawal by depositors are similar to the procedures for lump-sum withdrawal of time savings deposits. Generally, the minimum deposit is five yuan, and it is deposited once a month. If there is any omission during the process, it should be made up in the next month. Interest is calculated based on the actual deposit amount and actual deposit period.
Online banking does not set up a separate accounting system. Its accounting processing is completed by the dcc system, and its fund settlement is included in the counter business clearing system for automatic processing. When contracted customers conduct transactions through online banking, the electronic information records generated by them in DCC are valid vouchers for the transactions, and each accounting department uses transaction details records or transaction lists as accounting vouchers.
Each transaction must be confirmed by both the teller and the customer and signed and sealed by both parties.
After the end of today's business, perform day-end processing, print all relevant vouchers for today's business, and reconcile; print a "running list" to check whether the debit and credit sides of today's accounts are balanced. Finally, settle the accounts. These printed vouchers will be reviewed again by the person in charge of the relevant industry to see whether the subject seal is reversed, whether there is any missing seal of the person in charge, etc., and then sorted and bound. The daily vouchers are no longer kept by the business outlets, but are handed over to the directly affiliated branches for accounting after accounting processing. Then it is passed to the superior bank for "post-action audit".
Accounting
Compared with savings, the types of accounting services are more subdivided. Major categories include corporate business, bill exchange and fund clearing, payment settlement, etc.
To open an account with China Construction Bank, a company must submit an "Application Form for Opening a Corporate Bank Settlement Account", relevant supporting materials and copies, including the original and duplicate business license, tax registration certificate (national tax or local tax), and legal person identity The certificate shall be reviewed in accordance with the provisions of the "RMB Bank Settlement Account Management Measures". The teller establishes the unit customer information maintenance based on the application form reviewed by the accounting supervisor, processes the unit's current deposit account opening transaction, prints the account opening unit's seal card, and submits it to the unit's financial personnel to reserve the seal. If you apply to open a basic deposit account, special deposit account or temporary deposit account, you should make an account declaration to the local bank. If a general account is opened, it will be reviewed by the business department of the bank where the account is opened. After the declaration is successful, the teller performs a current
deposit account data maintenance transaction to change the account status from undeclared to declared.
b Bill exchange (mainly cash checks, transfer checks, bank drafts and wire transfers) is a type of business with financial institutions. It is organized, implemented and managed by the local People's Bank of China, and in accordance with relevant regulations of the People's Bank of China. Bill fund settlement business for various amounts handled through manual exchange in the same bill exchange area.
Based on the bills submitted by the customer or required for transfer, after verification, the teller will process the unit's demand deposits, withdrawals and other related transactions according to different situations, and check the proposed bills with the printed exchange bill check list After they are correct, the bills and the checklist are handed over to the exchange clerk. Finally, the exchange clerk prints out the list of exchange bills, checks them with the bills submitted by the teller, and accepts the request from the local bank for exchange.
c Payment settlement is the behavior of units and individuals using bills, bank cards and settlement methods such as exchange, collection and acceptance, and entrusted collection to make monetary payments and liquidate funds in social and economic activities.
The "Payment and Settlement Measures" issued by our country clearly stipulates the basic principles for handling payment and settlement:
1. For the payer, it is necessary to abide by the credit and perform the payment.
2. For the payee, whose money goes into whose account and who controls it
3. Bank’s principle of no advance
Transfer check It is a bill issued by the drawer, and the bank entrusted with the check deposit business will unconditionally pay a determined amount to the payee or holder when the check is presented; it is used by corporate and individual customers who open deposit accounts at China Construction Bank in the same city. For various amounts of transactions, transfer checks can be issued and the bank where the account is opened can be entrusted to handle the payment procedures. Giro checks may only be used for transfers. Transfer check is a type of intra-city payment settlement business. Processing process 1. Check issuance: The customer issues a transfer check based on the situation of the company and stamps the reserved bank seal. 2. Deliver the bill: The bill-issuing customer hands the bill to the payee. 3. Circulation and use of bills: The payee or holder endorses and transfers the transfer check according to transaction needs. 4. Entrusted collection or presentation for payment: The payee or holder takes the transfer check to the bank where the holder has an account or the drawer has an account and presents for payment. When the payee prompts for payment, he should make an endorsement for entrusted collection, sign the "endorser's signature" on the back of the transfer check, and indicate the words "entrusted collection". Loss report and stop payment: If the transfer check is lost and the person who lost the check needs to report loss and stop payment, he should fill in and sign the loss report and stop payment notice. The loss report and stop payment notice will be provided by the bank, and the standard fee will be paid at the same time. 5. Purchase of checks: After using the customer's cash check,
the customer should stamp the reserved bank seal on the transfer check receipt, pay the standard fee at the same time, and receive the blank transfer check.
A cash check is a bill entrusting China Construction Bank to unconditionally pay a determined amount of cash to the payee upon presentation. Units and individuals who have opened a deposit account in China Construction Bank that can use cash for payment and receipt can use cash checks and entrust the bank where the account is opened to pay cash for various amounts that comply with the "Bank Account Management Measures" and "Cash Management Regulations". Cashier's checks can only be used to withdraw cash. Cash checks can only be withdrawn in cash at the bank where the drawer has an account, and no exchange is required. Liquidation is carried out twice a day (before 11:30 noon and before 18:00 pm), print out the withdrawal card and batch control card, reconcile with the reviewer, confirm that the account facts are consistent, and then enter the accounts in batches.
Bank cards
Bank cards are divided into credit cards and debit cards (deposit cards, visa & mastercard) according to whether they have consumer credit (overdraft) functions. A debit card does not have an overdraft function, but it can be used for transfer settlement, deposits and withdrawals, and consumption. The deposit transfer fee of our bank in other places is charged based on the amount of each transaction, with a minimum of 2 yuan and a maximum of 50 yuan. The bank's handling fee for withdrawals from other places is based on the amount of each transaction, with a minimum of 2 yuan. Cash withdrawals from non-local ATMs will be charged at 1% of the amount (minimum 2 yuan) plus a handling fee of 2 yuan per transaction. The annual fee of 10 yuan is the cost, because the maintenance cost of debit cards is high. Generally, the cost of each bank card itself is ~2 yuan; a card printing machine worth more than 400,000 yuan will be replaced after producing about 400,000 bank cards. It will be scrapped, and the fee spread to each card is about 1 yuan; an ATM machine also costs 200,000 to 300,000 yuan, and the staff needs to replenish cash in time and pay corresponding labor and cash costs. The four major state-owned banks, Industrial and Peasant China Construction Bank, all issue more than 80 million cards, and their annual maintenance fees are hundreds of millions of yuan, which is a factor that banks have to consider.
A credit card is a certain credit limit granted by the bank to the cardholder (adjustable according to the use of the credit card or personal credit). You can make consumption within this limit without paying a reserve in advance. The bank will charge you monthly A list of the customer's consumption this month will be printed, and the customer can choose to pay in full or partially. If the latter is chosen, the unpaid portion will be treated as a short-term loan from the bank and earn compound interest on a monthly basis. Credit cards can also be divided into corporate cards and personal cards according to the objects of use; they are divided into gold cards and ordinary cards according to the credit level.
Summary
In addition to the above-mentioned businesses, I also participated in assisting a tuition collection business and independently completed the later finishing work (the demand deposit started on August 1, xx The small account management fee announcement and the issuance of the fifth new version of RMB in XX at the end of August both happened during my internship, so I also learned how to respond to customer inquiries and how to identify the new version of RMB). Through this internship, I deeply realized the importance of standardized management and strict implementation of standards in bank work. From this internship, I learned and improved some of my shortcomings, and learned how to guard against arrogance and impetuosity, and treat every business patiently and cautiously. Although many operations of front desk tellers may seem simple and repetitive, maintaining consistent work enthusiasm and long-term efficiency and accuracy requires redoubled efforts and further re-learning.
Notes: ① There are virtual tellers and physical tellers. Virtual tellers refer to self-service equipment (such as ATM, CDM, CRS, POS, etc.) and electronic systems (such as callcentre) that are connected to the DCC system and plug-in. ), it should be noted that virtual tellers cannot provide counter services, mainly inquiries and transfers; test tellers are personnel who specifically handle accounting, savings, credit, finance, and bank card services in various institutions, and are classified as A-level supervisors , B-level supervisors, cash tellers and ordinary tellers, no matter what kind of physical tellers can do business to the outside world.
And they can all carry cash boxes and handle cash receipts and payments, but tellers with different attributes have different authorization rights and business rights
②Accounting vouchers include: transaction vouchers (account transaction list, accounting vouchers, system Generated mechanism vouchers), batch processing vouchers, reference materials and account pages
③CCB’s “basic-level organization accounting supervisor appointment system” means that first-level branches or second-level branches appoint accounting supervisors to grass-roots organizations directly under them. An accounting personnel management system in which the accounting supervisor is subordinate to the appointed bank and is responsible to it. "Grass-level accounting supervisor" refers to the accounting person in charge of the grass-roots institutions (including branches, business departments, offices, and branches) directly under the first-level branch or the second-level branch.
China Construction Bank Summer Internship Report 2
China Construction Bank is the second-ranked bank among the four major state-owned banks. It carries the dreams of many people and also accumulates its own corporate culture and soul... …
During the three weeks of this summer, 600 of us were fortunate enough to stand out from many aspirants and participate in the first batch of internships at the Beijing Branch of China Construction Bank. I am deeply honored by the opportunity of the Palace...
When we come to China Construction Bank for internship, our purpose is to understand the banking business process, feel the cultural connotation and values ??of CCB, appreciate the philosophy of CCB, and cultivate our better A sense of belonging.
For this internship, I was assigned to the Urban Construction Branch. There were 18 people in two groups, and 14 people actually worked. I was very fortunate to get to know people from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, University of International Business and Economics, and Central University of Finance and Economics. , Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and I am very lucky to have the opportunity to communicate and learn from them.
Looking back on the three weeks, everything is still vivid in my mind...
Personal business
In the first week, I was doing personal business and was assigned by Manager Liang. Jinsong branch is the branch closest to my school. It is very convenient for me to commute to get off work this week. On the first day when I came to Jinsong Branch, my first impression was that the environment here is very good, and the lobby manager’s smile is very warm (he is four years younger than me). I feel that CCB’s service is really very good...
President Zhang and Director Niu of Jinsong Branch were very kind to me. When I asked questions, they answered my questions attentively.
In my first two days as an assistant to the lobby manager, what I had to do was when every customer opened the door of CCB, I smiled and said: "Hello, welcome to CCB, may I ask how you handle it?" "Business", when the customer wants to do personal business, I swipe the card to pick up the number and hand it to the customer with both hands, saying please come this way; when the customer wants to do corporate business, I directly click on the machine to pick up the number and hand it to the customer, saying "Please come this way" Go that way. When a customer leaves, I will say: "Please walk slowly." I really felt the feeling of service.
In addition, when handling personal business, such as opening an account or transferring money, they will be handed the following documents. What is important to mention here is that Jinsong Branch has installed an automatic form-filling machine. The system has been updated very well, making it more convenient to fill in forms. You can type out part of the form by just swiping your ID card.
In fact, when I work as a lobby assistant, my feet hurt after standing all day, but every time I hear a customer say "thank you", the feeling of being respected still makes my heart feel like a breeze. It feels as refreshing as ever, like the warmth of a ray of sunshine. This is also a reward for service.
For the position of lobby manager assistant, in addition to me, there are two undergraduate orientation internships. We do this job together with the lobby manager. We have a good relationship and the cooperation is very pleasant. Here you can feel the atmosphere of the CCB family and the harmonious CCB values.
I feel that in the warm atmosphere of CCB, a united big family, work is very smooth, and everyone can actively complete their work.
During the days when I was standing in the lobby, I had some suggestions of my own:
1. Can an LCD TV be placed near the entrance of the lobby to show real-time latest financial products, financial information, etc.
2. Is it possible to install a scanner button on each seat waiting in the lobby, which can scan the calling barcode and connect to the counter system. When the counter calls the number, the button on the seat will directly ring, so that everyone can No wrong number.
3. Is it possible to install headphones on the seats so that waiting people can listen to financial information, CCB financial products, etc. while waiting, preferably with light music.
4. The functions of the replaced new system equipment are generally relatively single. Is it possible to consider diversifying the functions when updating the system equipment in the future, which can save equipment.
5. Utility bills are now electronic on a pilot basis. Cash is not collected at the counter. Is it possible to consider opening a special counter for the elderly, because the elderly like to collect utility bills such as water and electricity bills in cash, and utility bills are just a representative , many other services that are convenient for the elderly can be handled at the elderly counter. . .
These are just my suggestions for some hardware equipment of CCB. I think it may be possible to further optimize CCB’s electronics.
My suggestions for my position as lobby manager:
1. This position is an introductory guide for CCB branch customers. You can write some articles and do some finance in this position. Information, promotion of financial products, etc.
2. In fact, the number-taking machine can be placed at the entrance, with a reminder, and the lobby manager can introduce it to customers when they come.
Then I worked with personal account managers Master Li and Master Peng as personal account manager assistants. Master Li asked me to enter the OC system to view customers. The levels were diamond, platinum, and gold, and asked me to view them. After reading the customer schedule, I can feel that CCB's customer classification system is quite good, distinguishing between large and small customers and managing them by category.
I also consulted with Master Li and Master Peng about CCB’s financial products, funds, gold, etc. Master Li and Master Peng patiently explained a lot to me and learned about marketing in practice. .
CCB does a relatively good job in marketing.
During my days as account manager assistant, I also have some suggestions:
1. Customer classification CCB already has, diamond level, platinum level, gold level, just for each type of customer The maintenance methods and communication modes may not be greatly classified. I personally feel that the approach should be: adopt multiple modes and hold regular social activities with customers.
2. Customer classification rating is now only based on deposit amount. Can it be subdivided according to consumption, account activity, fund health, communication activity, etc.?
3. Do account managers have more innovative communication methods when contacting customers? Does China Construction Bank offer a small secretary service for account managers to provide account managers with business guidance in this regard at any time and provide customer updates anytime and anywhere?
China Construction Bank Summer Practice Report [Part 2]
1. Introduction to Social Practice Units
China Construction Bank Co., Ltd. is a leading company in the Chinese market A joint-stock commercial bank, it provides customers with comprehensive commercial banking products and services. The main business areas include corporate banking, personal banking and treasury services. A variety of products and services (such as infrastructure loans, housing mortgage loans and bank card services) occupy a leading position in the Chinese banking industry.

The history of China Construction Bank can be traced back to 1954, when it was established as the People's Construction Bank of China. Government funding for projects and infrastructure-related projects. In 1979, the People's Construction Bank of China became a financial institution directly under the State Council and gradually assumed more functions of a commercial bank.
With the establishment of the China Development Bank in 1994, which took over the policy loan functions of the People's Construction Bank of China, the People's Construction Bank of China gradually became a comprehensive commercial bank. In 1996, the People's Construction Bank of China was renamed China Construction Bank and was established as a joint-stock commercial bank in 2004.
The main products and services of CCB Boluo Branch, where I work in social practice, are: RMB deposits, loans, settlement business, RMB savings business; foreign exchange deposits, foreign exchange loans, foreign exchange remittances, foreign currency exchange; international settlement; Other businesses approved by the People's Bank of China.
2. Experience in social practice work
(1) Preliminary understanding of China Construction Bank
During this winter vacation, I did social practice at the Xiangjiang Branch of China Construction Bank Co., Ltd. After working for nearly a month, I feel that I have combined the knowledge I have learned in the past with practical operations very well, and have a deeper understanding of banking business, which has laid my professional foundation.
When I first arrived at the CCB branch, I faced the new environment with excitement but a little fear. I was excited that I could finally understand the banking business better through social practice and lay a solid foundation for myself. I was afraid. The professional knowledge is not solid enough, and I am afraid that there will be too many unknown difficulties and mistakes that should not be made in the process of social practice. There is always a gap between ideals and reality. One month of social practice has taught me that there are not many businesses that a social practice student can really come into contact with. After all, I am still in the learning process, so I can only have a preliminary understanding of China Construction Bank. All businesses, especially some of the more basic businesses, have a deeper outline of these.
Therefore, during the previous period of social practice at CCB, I mainly understood the basic situation, institutional setup, and staffing of social practice units. Although these tasks are trivial, I am very happy because these tasks make me very satisfied and I have learned a lot. Especially when I first see the bank’s checks, remittance orders and other documents, I will recall the previous work. In the "Bank Accounting Training" I studied during the semester, it turns out that there is a big difference between the simulated documents we studied and the actual documents, and the content of the documents filled in in reality was simpler than in the study. Perhaps it was to facilitate customers and simplify them. procedures.
Of course, in the process of answering customers' questions, I also encountered many problems. Many times, because I did not understand the business deeply enough, I was often speechless when facing customers, and I often answered customers vaguely. I often had to answer questions. Ask your manager for help. After a few days of intensive understanding, I can now easily solve most of the simple problems faced by customers, which can also reduce some of the manager's burden.
(2) Social practice experience in China Construction Bank
First of all, lay the foundation for learning. The ancients said: There is no end to learning. Now that I am a senior, I am very aware of the gap between my own abilities and social requirements. Although I have a certain understanding of my major, it is still far from enough. Therefore, through the study of professional courses last semester, my professional knowledge has been strengthened. At the same time, participating in the social practice of China Construction Bank has enabled me to integrate theory and social practice, laying a foundation for future work.
Secondly, social practice experience. As the saying goes: Apply what you learn. In this month of social practice, I gained a lot:
First, I broadened my horizons and learned to use all-round thinking to understand society and think about life.
During this period of social practice, I gained a deeper understanding of different jobs in the same bank. In the new economic era where the knowledge economy and network economy are swarming and the global economy is integrated, technology, information, integrity, and teamwork spirit are particularly important. A small position and a month of training made me feel the development of the business era and the pace of social progress, as well as the prosperity of the financial market economy.
The second is to experience competition, which accelerates the continuous updating of one's own knowledge and the continuous improvement of personality. Business competition is ruthless and requires high efficiency. Response is slow in any aspect of information acquisition, decision-making, and execution, and opportunities are fleeting. And these require comprehensive knowledge and quick information. In just one month of social practice, I deeply realized the huge pressure of competition among banks. Without better services and innovative products, it is difficult to gain a long-term foothold in the market. As for the competition among employees, you can feel the invisible pressure on them. For the sake of life and family, they must constantly improve themselves and improve their performance.
The third is to temper oneself and improve one's own survival skills and competitiveness. In the fierce market competition, my judgment on the market and my ability to make decisions and mediate matters have been greatly improved. From hasty decisions to rigorous thinking; from asking for instructions at all levels on a matter to independent thinking and decision-making; from relying on others to coordinating all aspects of the relationship to complete a project independently. After various stages of learning and training, I feel that I have experienced a profound transformation in how I treat people.
Fourth, I made some friends and expanded my space for life development. In the process of social practice training, I have broadened the channels for communication and accumulated valuable interpersonal resources. Some of these interpersonal relationships are sincere friends made through showing true feelings at work, some are elders and brothers with rich knowledge and experience, and some are customers who have made friends with integrity in business dealings. These interpersonal resources will definitely expand the development space of life. , has become a rare wealth in my life.
