if you hold a dual-label card of Bank of China UnionPay and VISA or MasterCard or JCB, you can swipe your card to spend money in the domestic UnionPay channel. If you only hold a single-label foreign currency card of VISA or MasterCard or JCB, you can't spend money in China for the time being, but you can spend money through corresponding channels abroad.
