Bank card selection before studying in the United States
I'm going to the United States for graduate study soon. Because the school requires that the tuition fee be paid earlier than when I arrived in the United States, I can only wire transfer, and the wire transfer fee is high, but there is a cap, about 200 RMB. I have an international credit card from China Bank and an international card from China Construction Bank. The following is my experience.

Bank of China International Credit Card

China Bank's card can be swiped directly in the United States. Parents can add money at home, free of charge, and convert it into US dollars at the exchange rate of the day, but there is a charge for withdrawing cash. Because it is a credit card, the annual fee of the card is 100 RMB.

China Construction Bank International Card

CCB has contact with Bank of America, so CCB's card can also go to Bank of America to withdraw money or something, which is no different from American cards, and there is no handling fee. Visa is generally used more.

service charge

The wire transfer fee is high, but it is capped, about 200 RMB. There is a handling fee for China Bank to return the card, and the annual card fee is 100 RMB.

Other banks

If there are foreign banks such as HSBC and Citigroup in your city, you can also consult business.
