Before the reform, the qualification examination subjects were composed of basic subjects and professional subjects. The basic subjects are the basic knowledge of the securities market, and the professional subjects include securities trading, securities issuance and underwriting, securities investment analysis and securities investment funds. After the reform, the examination and approval of securities investment funds was handed over to China Asset Management Association. Candidates who have taken the qualification examination organized by the Securities Industry Association, passed the examination on securities investment funds, securities market basics or fund sales basics and passed the examination shall be recognized by the fund industry association before July 20 17 according to the principle that the examination results of the Securities Industry Association are long-term effective.

After passing the securities qualification examination, you can apply for relevant qualifications for fund practice:

1. Those who have passed the qualification examination for securities investment funds organized by the Securities Industry Association and worked in relevant institutions may apply for the qualification for fund sales business;

2. Those who have worked in securities investment funds and securities market funds organized by the Securities Industry Association and have worked in relevant institutions may apply for fund qualification;

3. Those who have passed the securities investment fund examination organized by the securities industry association, passed the subject 1 of the fund industry association: fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms, and have worked in relevant institutions may apply for fund qualification.

After July of 17 and 1 year, the examination results of the above subjects will be implemented according to the four-year validity period (four-year validity period means that the first subject is passed within four years). Those who have not applied for registration qualification to the fund industry association through their institutions for more than four years need to re-take two subjects (subject 1: fund laws and regulations, professional ethics and business norms, and subject 2: basic knowledge of securities investment funds) or make-up exams.
