On March 3rd, in order to implement the requirements of Several Opinions on Promoting the Development of School Art Education issued by the Ministry of Education and the spirit of three documents formulated by the Ministry of Education, namely, the methods for evaluating the artistic quality of primary and secondary school students, the methods for self-evaluation of primary and secondary school art education and the methods for annual report on the development of primary and secondary school art education, the "Evaluation and Certification Center for the artistic quality of primary and secondary school students" of Beijing Institute of Contemporary Art was established in Beijing. Art can open people's minds, improve people's character and improve people's quality. In recent years, the state attaches great importance to the artistic quality education of primary and secondary school students and has issued a series of related documents. The implementation of these policies requires the joint efforts of all sectors of society. I hope that after the establishment of the Beijing Institute of Contemporary Art's primary and secondary school students' artistic quality evaluation and certification center, this work will be more concrete, and the ways and means will be continuously improved in practice to benefit students, society, the country and cultivate better all-round talents.
