Before entering the school, the school will give you a test/interview. If you can keep up with the progress, just jump in.

But some people will choose to wait for the new school year for half a year before rereading.

It's best to choose a middle school near your home, preferably in your district, otherwise it's inconvenient.

As for many Chinese schools, it seems that there is nothing but new immigrant students.

My school is Yinghua in 1, and my class is taught in Mandarin (the first grade will be divided according to your Mandarin), so many people in my class can speak Mandarin/their families are from Chinese mainland (my mother is from Guizhou).

Now many students can listen to Mandarin, so you don't have to worry too much about communication.
