The Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engine Combustion makes decisions on the laboratory's research direction, open funds, major scientific research projects, development directions and other laboratory construction.

Academician Xu Jianzhong serves as the director of the Academic Committee of the State Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engine Combustion. There are 14 members, including 4 academicians.

The academic committee of the laboratory gathers well-known domestic experts in internal combustion engines, engineering thermophysics, automobile tractors, aerospace engines, thermal energy engineering and other related disciplines. The academic committee holds a meeting every year to listen to the laboratory director's report on the annual work progress and thoughts on future development.

On the basis of this, we will discuss the development direction, development plan and fund guidelines of the laboratory, and review open funds and other major issues to play a decision-making role in the development of the laboratory.
