The trademark registration date in Pakistan is the date of application for registered trademark, and the validity period of trademark registration is 10 years from the date of trademark registration (i.e., the date of trademark application). A trademark can be renewed before expiration. If the trademark owner does not submit a renewal application before the expiration date, the trademark can also be renewed during the extension period (that is, within 6 months after the expiration date). During this period , in addition to the first trademark renewal application, the examiner may require the trademark right holder (i.e., the trademark renewal applicant) to submit evidence of trademark use. If the trademark owner does not renew the trademark within the above period, the examiner will directly cancel the trademark rights.
