Second, the overall goal
(1) Promote cross-strait youth exchanges and integration. The "Huacan Award" has built a bridge for cross-strait youth exchanges and integration, deepened cross-strait youth exchanges and cooperation, enhanced the unity, cohesion and centripetal force between cross-strait youth, and made cross-strait youth walk away from each other in exchanges, deepened their feelings and enhanced their integration.
(2) Improve the quality of training design talents. The "Huacan Award" focuses on cultivating the design concept and improving the design practice ability of college students on both sides of the strait through competition. The "five educations" are carried out simultaneously, showing the latest achievements in the training of design education talents in colleges and universities on both sides of the strait and improving the training quality of design talents in colleges and universities on both sides of the strait.
(3) Planting fertile soil for design, innovation and entrepreneurship. The "Huacan Award" fully demonstrates the fruitful results of high-level innovation and entrepreneurship education in art design in the new development stage, focuses on the China plan for cultivating innovative and entrepreneurial talents in art design under the guidance of the new development concept, builds a cross-strait competition platform for art design innovation and entrepreneurship, and cultivates fertile soil for design innovation and entrepreneurship.
Third, organization
(1) The Huacan Award is sponsored by China Higher Education Society, China Zhongshan Cultural Exchange Association and Beijing Gehua Culture Development Group Co., Ltd., and undertaken by the International Liaison Department of the Revolutionary Committee, the Design Education Committee of China Higher Education Society, Huacan Workshop (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd., Beijing Design Week Co., Ltd., Jilin University, Beijing University of Technology, Shanghai University, Hubei University of Technology, Fuzhou University, sichuan fine arts institute and Shaanxi University of Science and Technology.
China Packaging Federation Design Committee, Unity Newspaper, Taiwan Province China International Association for the Promotion of Art and Literature, Taiwan Province China Association for the Promotion of Outstanding Youth Exchange, Macau University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Design Association are the supporting units.
(II) The organizing committee of the contest (hereinafter referred to as the organizing committee) shall be established for the Huacan Award, which shall be composed of the relevant persons in charge of the organizer, organizer and relevant supporting units, and shall be responsible for the organization and implementation of the contest. The Secretariat of the Competition Organizing Committee is located in the Career Development Department of China Higher Education Society, and is responsible for the daily work.

Fourth, the content of the competition
The "Huacan Award" adopts the three-level competition system of school competition, division competition and national competition.
(1) School Competition
Mainland colleges and universities organize their own intra-school competitions (encourage the use of official website), complete the intra-school competitions on time, and recommend no more than 60% of their total works to enter the competition evaluation.
(2) departmental competition
There are 10 competition areas in China: there are 7 competition areas in Chinese mainland with multiple awards such as the first, second and third prizes, and the number of winners shall not exceed 15% of the participants in principle. At the same time, each division will recommend the works to enter the national competition evaluation; Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan three divisions and cooperation groups do not set up division competitions and awards, and directly enter the national competition evaluation.
(3) National competition
1. The total prize money of the main track of this national competition is RMB 500,000, and the total prize money of the directional theme track is RMB 65,438+10,000. * * * Two grand prizes (college student 1, young designer 65438, which can be vacant), each with a bonus of 50,000 yuan, to help apply for related patents free of charge; First, second and third prizes and many other awards.
2. Excellent instructor award was established in the national competition, and instructors who won the third prize of the national competition college students group and above won the excellent instructor award.
3. Units that have made outstanding contributions to organizing competitions shall be awarded the Outstanding Organization Award.
4. Other preferential policies for national competitions:
(1) The winning designers will be invited to become members of "Huacan (Kunshan) Design Center" and have the opportunity to enter the creative space of "Huacan Workshop" (Beijing, Chengdu, Zhuhai and Kunshan) for free. Award-winning designers can also get entrepreneurial services provided by Huacan Workshop, including virtual registration, entrepreneurial counseling, investment incubation, market docking and so on.
(2) Award-winning works and designers will have the opportunity to be selected into the "Key Project Recommendation Plan" of the Organizing Committee and realize market transformation by platform recommendation.
(3) Provide an incubation platform for designers to start their own businesses, and help young designers to realize their own design schemes, make samples and create design value.
(4) Schedule
Collection time: July 2022 to February 28, 2023 17:00.
School competition evaluation time: completed before February 28th, 2023 17:00.
Time for judging each division: March 2023
National competition judging time: April 2023.
Award ceremony: May 2023
(If the above dates are adjusted, the "Huacan Award" announced by official website shall prevail. )
(5) Input method
Log in to "Huacan Award" official website (www.huacanjiang.com) for online registration, and complete online registration and upload works according to the prompts. Please fill in the registration information correctly, and the information cannot be modified after winning the prize. Those with incomplete information will be disqualified without prior notice. (1) Reward Recall
In case of any of the following circumstances, the organizing committee of Huacan Award has the right to take back the right to use the award symbol and the prizes already awarded.
1. The winning works (products) cause great social harm due to functional defects.
2. Officially confirm that the winning work (product) infringes the design right or other intellectual property rights of other works (products).
3. The designer or producer makes major modifications to the winning work (product) and continues to use the winning logo on the work (product) or for publicity without notifying the organizer.
(2) Copyright statement
1. The entries shall be original works of the contestants, and it shall be confirmed that they have not infringed any other people's intellectual property rights such as patents, copyrights and trademarks.
2. The organizer exercises the copyright in the following ways, including but not limited to: the right to copy, disseminate, display, publish and publicize the competition works.
3. The copyright of the directional theme winning works belongs to the organizing committee of Huacan Award, and the organizer Huacan Workshop (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd. will sign the agreement on its behalf. If the winner can't sign, it will be regarded as giving up the qualification.
4. The scheme involving physical works should be submitted in the form of physical works (mailed according to the requirements and address of the participating tracks).
5. The organizer reserves the right of final interpretation of this event.
