Among the many scenic spots in Bolivia, the most well-known is the Uyuni Salt Marsh, which is the "mirror of the sky" that donkey friends talk about. Located in the western plateau of Potous, Bolivia, the Uyuni salt marsh is 3656 meters above sea level, with a length of 150 km and a width of 130 km, covering an area of 9065 square kilometers, making it the largest salt marsh in the world.
Uyuni salt marsh is located in the southwest of Bolivia.
Every year in the rainy season of June 65438+February, the water overflows the wasteland to form a shallow lake, which reflects the sky like a huge mirror, as if it were a dream-stealing space created by nature, making it difficult for people to go out once they enter. So maybe uyuni Salt Lake is the closest place to the sky in the world.
Uyuni salt marsh is one of the most important scenic spots in Potosí and the largest salt marsh in the world. At the same time, it is also an ancient miracle. The unique combination of its surrounding topography, geological structure, hot springs, geysers and craters makes Uyuni Salt Marsh unique.
In the center of Uyuni Salt Marsh, there is an island of cactus, which is the only place to pass through Uyuni Salt Marsh. The island is covered with tall cacti, about 10 meters high. When the Uyuni salt marsh is full of water, as a part of the salt marsh, the cactus island is also reflected between heaven and earth, which looks very dreamy. At the same time, cactus island is also the stop of most salt marsh tours, where people will stop and rest. If it coincides with the tourist season, cactus island will be crowded with tourists.
Meet the most unique lake group
Starting from the border between Bolivia and Chile, we entered Eduardo Avaro Andean Fauna National Reserve. The first lake we met was Laguna Blanca, located at the southernmost tip of Bolivia. The lake is white in the sun, hence its name.

Another masterpiece created by arsenic and other minerals, Green Lake, is located near Li Kan Kawohl volcano. When the wind blows over the lake, the color of the lake will gradually change from blue-green to black, and then return to its original color.

Termas de Polques, a hot spring located beside the expressway, gives those who have experienced hardships in road trip a chance to get rid of fatigue. This is the highest hot spring in the world. It is in the vast desert, with desolate scenery everywhere, but you can comfortably soak in a hot spring. The sense of contrast is beyond description.
Red lake in the sunset
The most famous lake group is Lake Colorado, a red-and-white shallow saltwater lake with red minerals and a "white island" composed of borax.
Red Lake is a gathering place for flamingos, where thousands of pink flamingos live. The rich algae growing in the lake provide them with food and let them settle here. There are three kinds of flamingos in Red Lake, James flamingo, Andean flamingo and Chilean flamingo. They have unique pink feathers, which come from shrimps and crabs with carotenoids in the lake.
Red Lake is very popular with body lovers, but flamingos are indifferent to the camera and just stroll leisurely around the red lake for food.
It may be a little lonely along the way, but there are many wild animals to accompany. In addition to the cold flamingos, you can also meet groups of lovely alpacas, which is famous in recent years. Almost every alpaca's head is decorated with colorful ropes, which makes it more lovely and humanized. There are four kinds of alpacas in Bolivia, namely alpaca, alpaca, alpaca and Guanaca. The first three are made in China. Alpacas have been used to carry things since Potosi's silver mine era, while Guanaco is wild and lives freely in Bolivia.
